When dealing with an elderly person, with disabilities, it can be very difficult to help them bath or take a shower.  A shower chair seat can be a real life saver.  As a care giver to my mother, using a shower chair seat not only helped my mother be a little more independent, but saved my back, arms and neck.  Caregiver injuries are a common occurrence.  With the shower chair seat my mother worries less about falling, and I have more peace of mind.  On her good days the shower chair seat allows her to take a shower with out assistance form me.   I am amazed at how a product as simple as a shower chair seat can with my mother’s  independence.  If you are currently a caregiver for an elderly person with physical limitations, or if you are elderly with diminishing physical limitation, please consider purchasing a shower chair seat.  You may even want a shower chair seat for yourself.  When my grandchildren come to stay the weekend, they always ask if they can take a shower on Great Grandmas shower chair seat.  I think that my inlaws will be getting a shower chair seat for Christmas.  I hope the shower chair seat helps others that are going through the same things I am.
